by | May 16, 2023 | Clinical Research, Mental Health

The study below systematically reviewed and meta-analyzed the efficacy of neurofeedback in children and adolescents with ADHD. A total of 14 studies were included in the review, which included 411 participants. The results of the meta-analysis showed that neurofeedback was associated with significant improvements in ADHD symptoms, including inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity. The effect sizes were moderate to large.

The authors concluded that neurofeedback is an effective treatment for ADHD in children and adolescents. They also noted that neurofeedback is a safe and well-tolerated treatment.
