All patients undergoing assessment at our facility are required to undergo a comprehensive Computerized Neurocognitive Exam (CNE) test. This particular procedure employs a set of scientifically validated, objective, and reliable computerized neuropsychological tests, specifically designed to evaluate the patient’s neurocognitive status. By utilizing this advanced computerized evaluation, we are able to assess and measure a wide range of mental processes, including but not limited to simple motor performance, attention, memory, processing speed, and executive functions.
The primary purpose of the Computerized Neurocognitive Exam (CNE) is to thoroughly assess cognitive function in individuals. It accomplishes this by evaluating various aspects of cognitive performance, such as memory, attention, and reaction time. Throughout the test, patients are asked to complete a series of tasks while their responses and reaction times are meticulously recorded. Leveraging the power of cutting-edge AI technology, our CNE test produces results that are not only highly accurate but also reproducible, ensuring the utmost reliability in the assessment process.
In the context of traumatic brain injury (TBI), the administration of neuropsychological testing is of paramount importance. These tests provide crucial insights into the presence and severity of cognitive impairments that may have resulted from the injury. Our computerized CNE test is specifically tailored to address the unique requirements of TBI assessment. It typically takes approximately 40 minutes to complete and focuses on assessing and evaluating the presence of any cognitive impairment that may be present.
By incorporating state-of-the-art computerized neuropsychological testing into our diagnostic procedures, we are able to provide comprehensive and precise evaluations of cognitive function. This helps us identify any potential cognitive deficits, allowing for targeted treatment plans and interventions to be developed. With the aid of our rigorous and thorough CNE test, we aim to support patients in their recovery journey and facilitate the restoration of optimal cognitive functioning.
